I've been staying busy like everyone else, but I bet nobody else had a baby boy yesterday! 7 lbs. 1 oz., 19 inches long His name is Beaux Dawson Knight. Mom and baby are now home and doing fine. God is good!!!
On a professional note, I've been trying to keep up with all of the readings and assignments. I still have lots to do. My experience with this blog has been relatively painless. It was very easy to set up, once I created a new gmail account. Blogger.com is very user-friendly and has many different choices to make your Blog truly your own. I really think this would be a useful tool for anyone who wants to be in communication with the masses. I could see this being very beneficial for any school leader. With the technological age that we live in, school leaders have to keep up with the times. If society's main forms of communication are Twitter, Facebook, blogging, websites, etc., then we have to be willing (and able) to learn these new forms of communication. I've seen several Superintendents add links to their websites over the last few years for Twitter, Facebook, or a daily blog. It seems to be well-received by the stakeholders.
The social networking and other forms of social media are the way of the future. I'm sure there will be something new coming around the corner very soon, and we'll all jump on that bandwagon too.
I'll be working on my Wiki tonight.
