I met with our superintendent on Monday and we began reviewing the plan together. I had already given him a copy and he had taken the time to go over it in advance. He was very impressed with the amount of work and vast experiences covered in the plan. I explained that most of it came from our book so I could not take the credit.
For the most part nothing really changed. Mr. Bodine did notice that I was planning on reviewing our strategic plan and he mentioned that we did not have one. We talked about what is in a strategic plan and how we really do need to develop one. Instead of reviewing something we do not have, I will be leading a team to create one.
He was pleased with the way that the plan looked and the way that it was spaced out on the calendar. Mr. Bodine offered to help with any part he could. We discussed how this is a working document and that if he saw something he needed help with or if he saw something during this next year that would work well into my plan or help me grow professionally, then we would work together to ensure that it gets added to the plan and it gets completed.
